6 C water
1-1/2 C raisins
3 tsp cinnamon
3 C rolled oats (not instant :)
for a yummy variation add:
2 tsp vanilla
3/4 C chopped walnuts
-boil water with raisins in the pot too.
-when boiling, add cinnamon and oats and optional other items.
-turn heat down to medium low, and let slowly simmer until thick (about 8-10 mins), stirring occasionally so it doesn't burn to bottom.
